BlueDriver OBD2 Scan Tool App Reviews

Having purchased a 2017 Ridgeline which employs VCM, which I detest, I defeated the VCM by biasing ECT1. I use the Bluedriver and App to monitor the engine coolant temp to ensure the temp stays <167F. The Bluedriver powers up and links to my iPhone Bluedriver App reliably, and provides very simple file sharing. I also like the built in firmware update capability! The Bluedriver and App is an outstanding monitoring unit!!

The app works well, but needs more improvement. I wish it could read the transmission temperature. My 06 Jeep WK has no OEM trans dipstick. I use a generic one and need the temp to gauge how full it is.

Fantastic product for the DYI mechanic. Not bulky compared to MAC or SnapOn devices, but does the job as expected. Sometimes it takes doing some research to narrow down what the codes are meaning, but the app does a repair report that helps as well. I would definitely recommend.

I previously had the launch DBSR and lost it and decided to give this a try. The draw was not having to pay for specific manufacturers. This is WAY better in every way. Data streams are easier to use and read. So many more options and so much faster. Loving it. Thanks

App crashes every time I try to click live, no matter what, even when not cottected to the OBD itself, and the live is probably why I bought it to begin with!

Bought this. It worked flawlessly period!!! No flaky connections. Got all the results I needed and solved two problems with my Toyota Sienna at an incredible savings.

So far the Blue Driver has performed better than anticipated. Im still in the learning phase but I am happy with the functionality and the ease of operation of the device.

Ive never written a review, EVER! Folks- Im sold! Worth every penny. FREE APP and $99 for the plug in. Its Bluetooth and gives you live data to your smartphone. Anyone that feels helpless with todays vehicles now has a little more leverage under the hood. Tells you what part is giving you fits, resets codes and tells you what the most popular fix was to the issue you may be having. It even gives you live telemetry while driving. This thing is cool. Im not a tech but my cars are great and I wanted a tool to see more than just under the hood plastic. These should be sold with every vehicle!

I swear this saved me so much money over buying a Snap-On Ethos +. Does exactly the same thing for way less the cost and size!! Really satisfied!!!

As a dealer this is the best tool I own. Gives me a very deep insight into the mechanical condition of any vehicle I am planning on purchasing. Auctions, trade ins, other dealers, I dont go anywhere without it.

The shop I work at purchased Bluedriver for a basic all-around scan tool. Out of curiosity I tried it out on my 2002 F350 with the 7.3 diesel as I had some backup sensor codes present. It will not even interface with the system to read basic codes. Other systems it will probably work just fine, but it will not work with these. If this supported scanning my truck, I would have purchased my own adapter.

Installed easily on a Mercedes GL. Great interface with helpful decoding of error codes. Access to this information will save me a lot of money.

For mercedes benz and bmw this tool does not offer much in live data and cannot be used to scan abs codes. I wish the company can add more support for these cars for the items listed above. Otherwise this tool is capable of everything else and more.
